“All my friends went to college and I didn’t. Is that a mistake?


So all your friends went to college and now you find yourself going straight to work. Don't feel upset; consider yourself lucky. Now you have the opportunity to do directly what your friends will wait four years to do. While your friends have the opportunity to go to a school that theoretically teaches them how to learn, you actually have the ability to advance faster in reality.
Going directly into your chosen field without wasting four years may be the best thing that could happen to you. The truth is that most people who go to college acquire a general knowledge. Not going to school for four years gives you the advantage of acquiring a specific knowledge that will help you progress through life.    

 How would it make you feel to advance through your chosen career faster than your friends in college? When your friends come out of college, you will have had the opportunity to have already worked your way up the ranks of your company. As they enter into the organization as an entry-level employee, you will already be in a management position. This is the opportunity you have at your fingertips. You may need help in realizing that.
