Why are top companies backing away from requiring college degrees?

It may seem counterintuitive, however many Fortune 500 companies are backing away from requiring college degrees. This shift in the modern marketplace is directly related to the advancement of technology. It would seem that as our technology progresses, so does our ability to focus on what truly matters. What truly matters is your ability to get the job done. If you could learn how to become a professional expert directly out of high school, why would you need to waste the time of getting a degree?
Some of us automatically do what we love to do. If all of us did what we love to do, then we would live in a much better society. However, society has instilled within us a tradition of following the pattern of high school, college, then job. In reality, what truly matters is becoming an expert in a certain field. Whether that field is technical, mathematical or scientific is of no importance. What is of importance is mastering a chosen subject, trade, or skill.
Whether that means achieving success directly after high school or achieving success after we graduate college is irrelevant. The sooner we can become proficient in our jobs, the sooner we will achieve overall happiness and greater incomes.
A life coach for growing teens and young adults will help you to realize what it is you love to do. Many of us drift through life without ever realizing what it is we are passionate about. Breaking free from this cycle of uncertainty will help you to realize your passions and begin the journey to your professional adulthood.
